We come together from various backgrounds in order to create an interesting and innovative club. Learn about the team and the work they are doing for SJCC ALMASS.

Ana Cristina Guadarrama

Co-President, Kinesiology, 2nd year

 I am part of ALMASS because I want to support students and inform them of opportunities and resources there is to achieve their goals. As a student I am passionate about making a difference in the community.  I am really excited to be part of AlMASS and to see our community succeed.  I would love others to join ALMASS and help create a support system.

The reason why I was encouraged to join the SJCC ALMASS Club was to be able to offer Dreamers many of the resources they don't know exist for them and be the voice they need.

My goal is to create a safe space for students and provide a different approach to life. Also, I want to get a new perspective of life from my past experiences.

We have to get involved, we have to encourage students to search for resources because they exist. We need to stay together, continue to defend and search for a route for something permanent for the dreamers.

I want to empower my community and advocate for those that can't. We need to stand up and make ourselves visible. Surround yourself with the people that have the same mentality as you to be successful in life.
